Stupid Android Texting Question How does the layout work? Is it like iPhone's system where everything is in one long box, or is it similar to most of the other phones out there that require you to open up every single message in order to go through the message history? Yes, I'm an Android noob and haven't really been able to check that one portion of it out yet. The answer will likely be the tipping point between an iP4 and Captivate... :lol |
Sorry to thread Jack I'm curious how it is on a blackberry too I know how bbm is but is it like that for regular texting? Posted via RS Mobile |
BB text has the bubbles like the iPhone and BBM. |
There are SMS apps that look like they replicate the iphone style of messaging |
Thanks jordan Posted via RS Mobile |
The default app is similar to threaded SMS on BB 5.0. Separated by bars, and can have the senders picture on the side. |
Just get Handcent http://www.handcent.com/ScreenShot.php It replicates the iPhone's sms style + has customized layouts. |
Android=threaded messaging. (Looks like a MSN chat window) There is no need to open each message one by one. In fact, all smart phones use threaded messaging now. Posted via RS Mobile |
