Hopefully this is my last question regarding this, but:

LG 55" 1080p 240Hz LED HDTV** (55LE8500) - $2499.99
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...ccf1c047a9en02

OR

Samsung 55" 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV (UN55C6300) - $1,995.99
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...46b6550c72en02

Worth the price difference? Or do you have another TV to suggest? And I'm being told Plasma wouldn't work well in the spot I have, but some say other wise.

Manic! 09-25-2010 10:45 PM

Buy this:
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...207f97701den02

It's a Plasma. You have 30 days to return it, so see how it works in your room.
It's one of the best Panasonic makes.

^ ok ill give that a look, but from the 2 i picked out, which would you go for?

6insomnia9 09-26-2010 12:29 AM

LED > LCD =/= PLASMA.

And if you are going to buy a TV, buy Samsung , i just bought two dual screen monitors for computer, the 7series and i must say Samsung make some crazy fucking screens.

I think you mean

LED =/= PLASMA.

Led is close but for all out PQ Plasma wins.

6insomnia9 09-26-2010 12:45 AM

It really depends what you are using it for , for me it is all about the gaming.

TOS'd 09-26-2010 12:43 PM

I like LGs..

But Samsung > LG

I would choose the Panasonic plasma over both of them but based on what you just mentioned with regards to your room setup, I would stick with led/lcd. I think both those TV's are alright. I work in HT as well.

It's a C550, it's a lower end model. One step above the bottom Series C4.

Let me check at work today, but I think we still have the Samsung C8000 series (their best plasma line) 3D plasma for ridiculous low prices. 50" = $1999 bundle INCLUDING Blu-ray 3D player.

Sizes available up to 58" I think. May be larger. :D
