Rogers 6gb Dataplan iPhone vs Blackberry

On RFD I see people recommending everyone to get the 6GB BB Dataplan, even if you are getting an iPhone 4, does anyone know why? Is there any real differences between the BB plan and the iPhone 6BG plan?

Can't use a regular data plan with a BB. I think it's the other way around though, but I'm not certain on it. Either than that, 6 gigs is 6 gigs and $30 is $30.

APN3CON. its what iphone data plan dosent have and bb plans do.

preety much iphone data plan won't work with BB,BBM etc.

say if i have a bb right now and i plan to buy a iphone4 from rogers later, will they automatically switch my plan on me to the non bb one?
even though i got my bb from rogers 2 years ago.

Been thinking about switching to a iphone4 for fun, but i dont wanna lose my bbm option if i decide to go back to that phone once in awhile.

the only difference is that the BB plan has an extra support for BB specific apps like the BB messenger (or whatever you call it, by using the BB pins, you can txt to anyone...)

you can use the BB data on any phone but you NEED the BB data plan for BB...

if you dont plan on getting a BB then a reg data is good.. but if you have a BB and a iphone, its better to get the BB data so you can switch between phones and not worry.

so how would you switch between the BB and iphone since one is using a regular sim and the other a micro sim. Do you just keep the old regular sim in the BB?

It seems that the APN3CON code can be added to an iPhone data plan, I guess it doesn't hurt to add it anyways in case one decides to go for a BB in the future.

On Craigslist for $5. It's the exact same one in the exact same packaging as the one on DX.

if you screw up and forget the BB data plan and want to change later, when you call in, they will ask for a blackberry IMEI and use that to transfer your 6gb data plan
