Where to buy 3D Mouse?

Hey RS! Anyone know where I can buy a 3D mouse for CAD/3dmax/Sketchup? The only thing I can find is SpaceNavigator by 3dconnexion (logitech). Is there any other options?

Thanks!
Cheers!

I know some of the local software resellers sell them. Try IMAGINIT, or GlobalCADD.

The 3D mouse is used for controlling camera angles with the left hand, orbit and sometimes zoom. This makes 3d modeling for interior design A LOT easier especially when I'm moving in and out of houses and through walls constantly.

the space pilot pro is only $199 if you are a student, or know someone who is currently a student. Everything else they have are basically half price for students.

Tablets are for free-hand drawing like what you would mostly do with graphic design. most CAD work is stricter and works on specific angles and planes, so you wouldn't benefit from tablets as much...

Not necessarily. Tablets are actually pretty good for modeling especially doing anything complex like organic/surface modeling (I model my designs in XSI with tablet way faster than using 3ds Max). The pen and tablet allows you to pick up vertices easily than a regular mouse. You'd just have to customize your CAD settings to accommodate the tablet settings and function.

I rather save $ for another monitor, and a dual mon mount!

Sounds like a good idea curves are always kinda annoying with vector...
