Hopefully it doesn't snow at all.

fuckin hate winter, already looking forward to next spring.

TheMatty 08-31-2010 03:55 PM

this thread has gotten me excited for winter already... im not a big fan of summer

d1 08-31-2010 04:44 PM

What are people basing these predictions on? I hope it turns out be like last winter during the olympics - 2+ weeks of nothing but sunshine

Solo_D33A 08-31-2010 04:49 PM

I think I'm gonna save this thread to see who posted here that wanted and said is prepared for snow will post again this winter about them getting stuck.

insomniac 08-31-2010 05:06 PM

hopefully not much snow or no snow at all. its so hard to get up the small hill on my street. i would hate digging my car out at 8 in the morning

SumAznGuy 08-31-2010 05:33 PM

I hope it snows lots. Friggen strata president saw how we had little to no snow this year decided to try to save some money and cancelled the contract with a snow removal company.
For pete sakes, we live on a friggen mountain (SFU) that is 1200 ft above sea level.

I want to see the strata president out there breaking his back shoveling the snow and laying down the salt onto the driveway and common area.

Alatar 08-31-2010 05:54 PM

I don't mind a little snow. That's what my Subaru and winter rims/tires are for.

tonyvu 08-31-2010 06:02 PM

love the snow, bring it on

TOS'd 08-31-2010 06:13 PM

enough snow so i can snowboard in the city at parks/schools/make your own jumps.

RacePace 08-31-2010 06:18 PM

I hope it's exactly like last year

Have you ever lived in Eastern Canada and had to dig your car out on a -41C morning?

TRDood 08-31-2010 06:38 PM

I didn't enjoy last year's mud skiing at all :(

8thcivic 08-31-2010 06:43 PM

124Y 08-31-2010 06:53 PM

I'm hoping we get some heavy snowfall this winter! I'll be ready with AWD + Blizzaks. :)

I plan on making a shitload plowing commercial lots.

cressydrift 08-31-2010 07:25 PM

Last winter was a "El Nino" (warm ocean current). This year is suppose to be "El Nina" (cold ocean current). So hopefully, LOTS OF SNOW.... at least on the mountains. I also love going to Boundary hill and watching all the RWD's with summer tires (bimmers and mercs) trying to make it up, while I casually drive by in my truck!

johny 08-31-2010 07:49 PM

it was hailing / snowing on whistler peak on Sunday. I was hiking in it. and there is still patches left over from last year.

I'm tempted to fail this thread...
No one knows. and since it's a prediction, does it really mater?
Are you going to prepare based on RS member's predictions?

danned 09-01-2010 07:05 AM

snow sucks, no where you could go

Try living threw a month of -40C and digging out snow every other day, then let me know if you enjoy eastern Canadian snowfalls. :p I lived in/outside Ottawa till I was 29, snow sucks.
