any1 know the paint code for cusco? hey guys just need some help! a friend has a cusco front strut, but wants to paint it in the cusco blue again, just wondering if any1 out there knows the code for it. |
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think their struts are painted, it would chip and flake too easy. I know their suspension components like stabilizer bars and camber kits are either powdercoated or anodized, so I would assume it's all the same. sandblast and powdercoat would be the best method, and try a nissan daytona blue color code, it's pretty close. This is what the color looks like http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4101/...12ac0f7c_z.jpg |
I heard that's a hard one to get. might just try vauxhall arden blue or peageot blue, pretty close. |
sickk thanks a lot guys! i guess anodized daytona blue/arden blue would be good enough thanks guys! hey G-spec did ur coilovers come yet? i wanna see pics of ur slammed G35! |
lol, tell the me the code after you get it, so I can paint china strut tower bars and sell'em to kiddies :P |
LOL i was thinking the same thing =P i gotta find some1 wif original Cusco bar.. haha gonna take if off them and get it scanned and matched =P but i really think its anodized daytona blue/arden blue |
Royal blue. |
I actually really like the fact that my Mr.Alex front strut bar is ALMOST the same as my ABP engine bay body paint. |

they sell EBP in spray paint at canadian tire, pretty close. i've still got my cusco lower tie bar in my garage, pics on vcc fs thread. |
^ oh yaaaa shittt im gonna check out out.. cuz now im thinking of getting a godspeed 6point roll cage(bolt on) for my eg hatch.. and spraying it cusco blue.. |
Not sure about their coilovers and cages, but Cusco's other suspension bits (sway, strut bars, etc) are just painted normally. my tower bars and lateral rod have suffered lots of paint wear and chipping. |
