Pitt is the best local lake by far IMO just gets choppy sometimes Posted via RS Mobile |
+1 for Pitt. |
do people actually wakeboard in the ocean? I guess Im spoiled living in Kelowna... |
Tons of wakeboarding in deep cove up, up the Indian arm and in bedwell bay. Posted via RS Mobile |
Deas Slough. |
not really the ocean since it's technically the river. lots of great spots not too far from the slough too... through all the reeds. there's like paths everywhere. no dead heads/stumps and calm water. Also still fresh at that point. |
I think everything has been listed already.. Cultas is only good if you go super early... like as soon as the boat launch opens you are there.. The water is glass and so warm.. 10-11 the boats start showing up and then you are done till 7ish |
thx guys |
chilliwack lake? |
Harrison Lake  |
lake Chelan |
buntzen lake? |
no power boats allowed in buntzen lake.... unless u paddle to make your own wake |
never knew that my bad |
im surprised no one suggested stave |
I was a really sexy red flake Mastercraft being towed yesterday... I've seen pics of the flake boats before but I dont think I had seen one before.. Really gets your attention thats for sure.. You can always tell its a wakeboard boat being towed since they always make the F350's and 3500's look small... Even a big ski boat with a tower doesnt look big behind those trucks.. |

those boats are nuts. you can fit 18 fuckin ppl in them! |
eBay has some crazy deals n mastercrafts I've seen a 2008 xstar with 45 hours go for 45 Posted via RS Mobile |

From what I've heard they are good for one thing only... Wakeboarding... No surfing and if you want to party they dont have as much room.. The X45 is a better "all around" boat... Also for the money a Tige or Malibu are better options. Mastercraft is like the BMW of the boat world. Sure they are good boats but at the end of the day you are paying a little extra just for the name.. |
hey guys thx for the suggestions, although its almost the end of september, the water by goose island is still bareable with a wetsuit |
There's also Molson lake in Abbotsford. It's a great man made lake and they do jump training there with ramps and everything. |
Drop in the Fraser. You can launch near Barnston Island for $5. Semi-priv launch. Ride all the way up to the Bedford Slough. There's even a bar on the river you can stop at for some beers. The choco brown water is actually kinda nice for spotting your landing on flips. Any you can tail tap any dead heads you come across. Dodging the floating lumber is kinda fun actually. Bring the dry suit post October, otherwise good to go. |
we're heading out to alouette tomorrow morning, gunna be a little cold but hey its only water |
