Recommend me a keyboard / mouse Please recommend me a quiet keyboard and mouse. I currently have a logitech g15 and a razor diamond back but its getting too loud for night usage. I would like a mouse that clicks without so much noise and same goes for the keyboard. keyboards that i am looking at right now are -Logitech Dinovo -Logitech Illuminated Keyboard -Logitech Mx5000 Can anyone help me share some thoughts on these products or other ones that you have ? Thanks |
i have the dinovo edge. meets your criteria, keys are very crisp and is ultra-sleek. but i'm just upset they couldn't make it illuminated considering it is a $200+ product. another thing to consider is the palm rest...while it's asethetically beautiful..it can get really cold in the winter..which is why i only use it for the htpc and not really for typing (which is really a waste) i dont think they make mice factoring into the clicking sounds..but if you web surf or photo-edit a lot check my sig. |

sometimes its better to go cheap then expensive. Microsoft mouse is pretty quite And the OCZ that has rubber keys is super quite, it goes for like 29.99 |
I have the mx5500 and had it replaced twice. Both times was due to connectivity issue. Sometimes the mouse would reconnect by itself. And sometimes it will die halfway, you can move the cursor, but not be able to click, have to turn off and on to fix. The keyboard is fine though. |
the g9x mouse from logitech is on sale for 69.99 at dell rite now. it's an upgraded version for the g9 and the same as the alienware tactx as for keyboard i have the dinovo edge and i luv it.. only thing is i get disconnected for like 30secs once in a while.. i think i'll get it replaced thru warranty |
1 Attachment(s) bluetooth laser keyboard! |
do you guys use your mouse mostly for games ? i play css, sc2, l4d sometimes. do you prefer wireless or wired ? |

You've been around long enough that you know the B&S forum rules state that you can't sell for profit. You bought that mouse from Dell when they had the $39 sale for the mouse and now you are selling it for DOUBLE the price that you paid? I could understand if you priced it at $50 or $60 but you only paid $44 and you are asking $85? whatever floats your boat I guess..... Back on topic, I also find that in average that Microsoft mice are quieter. But I still prefer Logitech devices because they are more ergonomic and awesome warranty. |

I bought it at MSRP at end of july (when sc2 came out) and the sale you are referring to was in early august. not that it really matters as the deal was from last month and i just sold the item this afternoon. I can provide the invoice if the buyer is concerned. On topic: great deal on the g9x..but it's not necessary unless you are a hardcore gamer (it has the changeable weights). Quote:

If you really did buy it at MSRP then I'm really sorry for my rant lol. I see you frequent rfd too and the sale started on July 31st. So when you said you bought it late July I assume you got in on the $39 deal. Anyways, I myself have one too and I actually really like it. Feels better than the Steelseries Ikari Mouse that I had before because I have a smaller and and this mouse fits my hand very well. |
