as we know..codemasters is responsible for great racing games in the recent years..GRiD...DiRT..here's this year's title: F1 2010.
I didn't hear about this game until recently as i thought it was an EA game..here are some pretty astonishing info from wiki:
Quote:
F1 2010 will feature "the most complicated weather system ever seen in a racing game" [8] which is integral to F1. When rain starts to fall, the track will gradually lose grip, with some areas losing grip faster than others. "Overhanging trees, for example, will shelter the track, while dips and indentations in the tarmac will hold more standing water and provide a greater risk." [9]
When the rain stops, a "drying line" will start to appear which will provide more grip which will make it easier to drive. If a car strays from the dry line, the tyres will lose grip and it will be harder to drive. Evolving track will also be featured elsewhere in the game; at the start of a race weekend, the track will be "green" and therefore have less grip, but as the weekend progresses, rubber will be laid down onto the track, increasing the grip.[9]
So what buttons do I press to cover the F-duct or adjust the front flexi-wing?

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
SO GLAD that F1 is coming out for PC, I HATE HATE HATE playing these console games in shitty 720p res
don't have a DX11 compatible PC to compare so i'm perfectly happy with racing games on the consoles...
can't wait for gran turismo ...60fps 1080p ..even though i know i won't be as impressed as i was back in 2008 with prologue's release...hopefully jaggies are minimal.
You don't need much of a PC these days to outpower a console. Consoles are DX9 level for graphics (PS3 even lower). I bet you could put together a $300 PC that outperforms a $300 console.
Also, GT5 will be upscaled to 1080p, not true 1080p. 60 fps will be nice though, that's for sure.
I go NFS Shift for PC, it's pretty good! I run it at TRUE 1080p with full details and 4xAA. Looks beautiful and runs at 60 fps
