clifford alarm programming

So long story short i lost my keys an the one key fob that came with the car :(
And i purchased a identical clifford key fob off ebay....i tried looking for the model on cliffords website (i think mine is a Polaris) to program the new remote but no luck. Im assuming its a Polaris because my dads car (also a accord) has a identical key fob and has a manual for a Polaris system.....the only thing is his doesn't have a model # on the back of it and i cant seem to find the new one i just bought......il get back to this thread once i find all this info but i am pretty sure its a Polaris 2 alarm....so if any of you alarm techs can chime in and send a link my way or something that would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
gdhillon

Look for a small chrome toggle switch under the dash, it may also have a small black vinyl 'nipple' or cap on it.

If you find it then;

- turn ignition on to the run position
- flip switch back and forth and you should hear the siren chirp
- make the siren chirp 11 times, then press button one on the remote
- remote is programmed

If the does chirp with the switch and will not program, then it's possibly 13 chirps instead of 11.
