Who serves this Eastcoast desert locally ? I spent most of 2009 in Toronto, and almost on a weekly basis used to hit up this bubble tea place Richmond Hill, best bubble tea place EVARRRR btw, looked like a fckin club almost and they served soooo much awesome, their menu was filled with stuff I've never seen here. They serve this one particular desert that is probably the best desert I have ever tasted, and I've been craving it like crazy ever since I got back to Van City...... so Wifey is in Toronto right now and she was nice enough to send me a picture of the desert right before she devoured it, rubbing it in my face and whatnot... so it's basically a crepe filled with ice cream, topped with powdered sugar, CONDENSED MILK and offcourse whipped cream with various fruits, and it costs $8 !! oh and BTW i dont think the picture does it justice, but this thing is HUGE ! the portion is very generous here's the pic she took just the other night, WHO HAS THIS HERRRREEEE ??? I swear local bubble tea places here are shlt now compared to the eastcoast http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...4/IMG_0530.jpg |
sorry cant help you but that looking fucking so good edit, what about cafe crepe on Robson ? |
I'd think some of the Chinese dessert places should have something similar. Looks awesome, minus the bananas. Bananas should be universally banned. My condolences for you having to spend so much time in Toronto. :( |
Maybe la bretagne creperie off robson on jervis may have something similar |
I was going to suggest the crepe room on robison too. If it involves crepes they have it I swear. |
yea thanks guys Imma try a few of these places they sound promising, I'm from Europe so I grew up on crepes and this thing is delicious. |
damn that looks pretty good and delicious i want some now :drool |
whats the name of the bubble tea place? i spent 4 years in toronto.. don't think i went here!!! |
^ I forget the name, but it's in Richmond Hill which is the Asian area of town, heh funny how Richmond is the Asian part of town here as well. but yea it's huge, open glass windows with big parking lots outside and a few other restaurants around it, the whole area is like the outlets in new west, with big parkin lot in middle and restaurants and stuff all around so it's not like ON the street where cars drive past. |
