Limewire

Where do you guys grab your music? I swore I'll never install limewire again...what a trojan infested program.

Lowered_Klass 09-03-2010 09:22 PM

I've been using Frostwire for a while now with no issues.

strykn 09-03-2010 09:31 PM

Limewire was ok back in the day, its too fucked now though. I use piratebay for full albums

hchang 09-04-2010 04:57 PM

I listen to pretty much only techno music, and most of the songs I want aren't usually mainstream and have a hard time finding, so I find it on youtube then convert it from http://www.video2mp3.net/

Download "utorrent" and search via www.torrentz.com.

Works every time.

holy fuck, i haven't really ever had issues with limewire until recently after installing it on my computer after a reformat, couple weeks in and this shit blows up on me... windows starting up to a black screen, a bunch of randomass antivirus "advertisements" popping up claiming to have a solution to my "trojan virus". They scan my computer for me, then ask for my credit card number to pay for a "subscription" to said antivirus to completely resolve my "problem".

What a load of cock. Fucking adware.

Why bother searching for torrents when you can quickly d/l via 4shared or rapidshare?

Obviously torrents are still the best option for apps, movies, etc... but single songs or even full albums are easily found via HTTP.

Fuhrėr-Z 09-07-2010 09:34 PM

^ Agreed, so we'll restate your claim as " P2P is dead, when it comes to songs and sometimes albums"

Torrents still rock for albums too.

OK, fair enough. P2P is dead when it comes downloading songs.

:werd: mediafire links are fast as shit

Yea I got rid of Limewire long ago, before when I used to download music videos, they would have the name and title of that certain MV, but then when I played it, it was a girl sucking off a donkey. Which was great, don't get me wrong, but when I want to watch Eminem rap about whatever, a donkey cock just doesn't suffice. Mediafire for me now.
