Good websites for translating to English? Does anyone have any good sites for translating? I'm CBC but I'm unable to read ANY Chinese characters and sometimes I'd like to have some Chinese sentences translated and I've been using Babelfish since it's supposedly "The best" but it usually translates the sentences to something weird LOL and it doesn't seem to be very good :( Someone recommend me a good online translator please! :) |
google translator |
I prefer to use Babelfish over anything else. It tends to make more sense. Try to use some other transalators and you'll see how much easier it is to understand with Babelfish. |
I used to live by http://www.worldlingo.com/en/product...ranslator.html UNTIL i found out how awesome google translate is. |

good site! bookmarked |
www.nciku.com After typing/copy & pasting in what you want to translate, hit search, then you can hover the mouse over the individual characters and it gives you the definition of each character. You can also hit the translate button below the words, but as you probably already know, the translations suck. That's why I like this website as it gives you what each character means and you can piece together the correct translation. Also, top right hand corner, you can draw the character yourself and they'll come up with a bunch of different results (useful if you can't copy & paste some text) |
