better to scan negatives or pictures?

is it better to have negatives scanned? or get the printed pictures scanned? I found old rolls developed... they were never great pictures to begin with - ie, poor focus etc - cheap cameras...

and where's a decent cheap place to do it? i don't think my cheap ass scanner (that i can't find drivers for windows 7) is going to hack it...

G.King does it at a decent price...about $1 or $2 per image at 300dpi.

Yeah, I heard they went out of business. A little sad, but the new owners really ruined killed the business.

Try ABC Colour or The Lab.
