question about pulley kit for rx8. experts please help.
 
hi all, im looking to do some tuning to the rx8 that i got. want to keep it NA.
im looking at this greddy pulley kit that replaces the water pump and alternator pulleys. and agency power crank pulley replacement.

is it worth the money to do it?? what am i gonna get out of it?? i cant seem to find some user review on this..

1. No it's not worth the money.
2. You won't gain anything out of it other than aesthetics.

Somebody will disect this a lot futher than I will and disagree but my reply is based upon a practicality basis. My advice is to save the $200-$300 towards prevenative maintenance with money leftover for an entry level detailing kit.

Power gains will not be huge, but you should notice your motor rev'ing quicker in 1, 2 and 3rd gear.
Like a lighter flywheel, these pulley kits are lighter than stock thus is easier to spin.

If you have the money for the bling, or have done all the other NA mods, then go ahead and get them. If this is going to be your first mod, then save your $$$ and get other mods done first.

well, i have intake, hi flow, exhaust. what else can i add to NA???

Headers, light weight flywheel, Not to familar with the rotory motor, but I think you can port and polish and extrude hone the manifolds.
Aftermarket ECU with custom tune.
