speaker wiring question

might be a stupid question, but is it possible to wire(bridge) the front and rear wires into ONE speaker to get more power into the speaker? in terms of an aftermarket HU directly to the speakers.. not through an amp.

Depends on the deck, but in general, no.

I remember the older Pioneers were bridgable way back. Only the rears were bridgable for a small small sub.

But yeah, like soundy said....generally no.

I remember a couple Alpines that were bridgeable, front/rear into one channel, but that was in the early 90s.
