Need Advice / Help I know this is OT but I'm not sure where to post this exactly. Heres the deal. I have a friend who suspects that he is being targeted by his neighbors. They would put mud and grass in his cars fuel pump. One day they put sugar in there I believe. Now, he doesn't have evidence of any of this but he does have legit reasons to suspect his neighbor. Honestly, this wouldn't bother me if I was near him, I'd just help him kick their ass but seeing as how hes far away, there isn't much I can do to help. Thats why I'm turning to you guys. Aside from calling the cops, what can he do, before these faggots do anything else or hurt my friend. I'm not looking for vigilante justice, but without proof, the cops can't do much. Any advice is appreciated. |
gotta find some solid evidence first. seems like survaillence cameras is your only option and then take proper actions after that. |
Night vision cameras; put them in and/or around his car. Alternatively try some kind of ink or paint tray on the ground around his car? Anyone who wants to fuck with it has to step in/on it. Posted via RS Mobile |
Fuel pump? That's an awful lot of work to go through simply to clog up the pump. ;) Now if you're talking about the filler neck, that's a different story. lol. |
Get one of those really sensitive car alarms? But then again those would probably go off everytime a loud car drove by. |
get him and a good buddy to stake out his car with cameras capable of night pictures |
ill help out your friend. who are these fuckers |
Can't do shit without proof (legally, anyways). |

definitely set up a surveilance camera and put it on 24 hour record. then intentionally set up things that will lure his neighbour out of his hole. once you have 3 - 4 incident recorded, call the police and press charges. better yet, get a lawyer and get paid. |
What is he doing that woudl make them do that? |

thank you all for the advice. I think U-spy store might have something that we're looking for. We'll try that out first. Thanks again. |
I would suggest a "pathing" of the surveillance, towards the neighbour in question. As this will directly tie them into their little scheme. But, you'll need really high-end stuff to capture face for night-cams. or else you'll just get the body shapes and them doing the act. Hard to capture, unless you get the "walk in, do the dirty work, walk out." |

park the car in a garage? |
Does he have a garage that maybe he can park sideways outside of with the fuel pumping facing in? I know it sounds retarded but from your story I'm assuming he lives in a house, but just does not have space to park it in the garage. So if you park the side with the fuel cap against some wall, or as close as possible to the garage, they won't be able to get inside. Try a simple visual deterrence and leave a little note on top of the fuel cap and write "Smile, cameras have been installed facing the car and will be sent to the local authorities" ? Or we could do an RS Campout! |
cameras are the best advice i can give u man for solid evidence. |
Is your friend, by any chance, Jing Wu? or whatever his name is.......... Could be one of those Chinese haters............ |
park a few minutes away? get security dogs:thumbsup: |
How certain it's his neighbour? Maybe it could be some stupid ass kids doing stupid things? |
pretty certain, but I believe that were going to take the hidden camera aproach. |
Also, you guys are awesome, love the suggestions. Too bad I'm Chicago. |
As a man, he must stake it out while hiding inside and peeping out the windows. When they come for his car there is only ONE solution. |
|
IN addition to all the spy suggestions, perhaps approach the neighbor. Have your friend act like he needs help in finding the perp. Just inquire and say if they saw anything. Just keeping your enemies closer. |
