FS: Quality motherboard / CPU / RAM Combo -- Republic of Gamers!!! I bought this stuff just over 2 years ago for nearly $800 with taxes. So these parts when coupled with 1 or 2 high-end video cards (Crossfire/SLI) can still run any game at really high/max settings. With my GTX275 ($150 - 200 video card), I can run any game that has come out recently flawlessly. PLEASE NOTE: BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I CAN SWEAR THAT I DID NOT OVERCLOCK THESE COMPONENTS. WHY? BECAUSE WHEN I BOUGHT THEM, THEY WERE ABLE TO DO EVERYTHING I WANTED THEM TO DO. I UPGRADE INSTEAD OF OVERCLOCKING, WHICH IS WHY I'M DOING ANOTHER FULL UPGRADE. Anyways, I'm selling because I'm doing a full blown upgrade. I didn't cheap out on any of these parts, so don't you worry, you'd be getting a helluva setup that is still expandable (LGA775 CPUs still capable of 4.0GHz+) and upgradable (Crossfire available, SLI available with some tweaking). Here are the components, and people that know their components should be able to vouch that these are top quality components: - Motherboard: ASUS Maximus Formula LGA775 X38 ATX DDR2 2PCI-E16 3 PCI-E1 2PCI 2 GBLAN SATA RAID (one of the best X38 boards available -- Republic of Gamers board) - CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Quad Core Processor LGA775 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 1066 FSB 8MB (I've seen these overclocked with stability at 3.75Ghz on air cooling only. Liquid cooling has seen 4.0GHz+) - RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2 PC2-8500 2GB 2x1GB DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 Dual Channel Memory Kit W/ LEDs (one of the fastest, and most stable memory kits available for this kind of setup) - CPU Heatsink/Fan Combo (I didn't even cheap out here, this combo was almost $100 with taxes): Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme 6 Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 Heatsink with Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E 120MM 1200RPM 20.1DBA 49.0CFM Fan (amazing heatsink/fan combo, my CPU idles average of 30degC, or even down to as low as 27 - 28degC on cooler days) So there it is. Honestly, I'm telling you, this setup is awesome. Never had a single problem with ANY of the parts. The motherboard is still good for years considering you can use Crossfire/SLI (dual video cards), plus the fact you can get CPUs for it that can run over 4.0GHz. Again, I'm only upgrading because I don't like to overclock my components. I'm only looking for $350 obo for the whole setup. You honestly won't regret getting this and building on it. Especially if you like overclocking, you can't get much cheaper than this lol |
Oh, and I don't wanna part out unless you come up with an amazing offer price on 1 or 2 parts ;) |
