god i hate M Night Shyamalan

So I was at the theater to check out scott pilgrim a few weeks ago and the trailer for 'devil' pops up, you could hear the unrest from the sold out theater throughout the trailer. as soon as M Night's name popped up a chorus of boos erupted from the crowd. it was glorious.

who is this guy? never heard of him.. haha j/k

but damn.. how does he have money to come out movies!! haha

I think its best when you don't know that its directed by M Night Shyamalan. Then you don't know what to expect!

The whole "Directed by M. Night Shyamalan" kinda spoils the ending right there

The Happening was honestly the biggest POS on earth..... worst movie i've ever watched, hands down

btw did anyone else find the bald pale guy scary?

Devil looks interesting but guaranteed that the ending will suck because he directed it.

The Village was absolute garbage as well. People were "WTF is this shit" when the twist was revealed and started booing after the credits popped up.

He shouldn't have started out with twist endings because that's what people expect of him now and when one of his movies don't end with a twist, people get disappointed.

i agree, Devil looks to be sort of a comeback for him i hope it doesn't have a retarded twist at the end, only the 6th sense and village had good twists

I'm pretty sure I demanded the manager on shift to give my money back after watching that. Sooooo many people walked out of the showing I was in. I hated it.

I liked the Sixth Sense and Signs was alright, but showing the aliens ruined the whole thing for me. That was a movie that needed everything to stay hidden just out of sight. I was actually truly enjoying that movie until I saw the poorly created aliens, and that turned a switch inside me that went from "enjoying myself" to "brought out of the golden popcorn haze and fully regretting this waste of time."

Everything else by him was pure garbage.

The Sixth Sense scared the shit outta me when i was younger, very good movie!

lol at The Happening though, that movie was a total fail (trees, really?)

i don't know about you but a movie that's main setting is an elevator is going to suck regardless.

I called the twist just from the trailer all my friends ended up thinking i was psychic or that i got my hands on an early release ;)

as for "Devil" M.Night isn't directing and he didn't do the Screenplay all he did was come up with the "story" aka idea

so hopefully with the work of the others involved it'll turn out to be okay

although its probably going to be about them having died in the elevator and are now experiencing hell in the elevator or they're in purgatory

or its going to be a representation of what its like to be in the elevator when someone farts (the guy who farts is the devil and his fart is the hell they experience)

tbh as long as his name is involved im staying away from it.
