Way more kids in my hood this year compared to years past. We were giving away full size bars and I was getting nervous I’d run out. Have about a dozen left and definitely wouldn’t have had enough had we not taken the little guy out for a couple of hours ourselves.

For some reason, I'm still hearing fireworks go off from time to time. All in one short session though.
The first couple days after Halloween, I just assumed people were finishing up their stash. But it's been almost a week now and I still hear it. Is there some other event I don't know about?

Last year I have out chocolate bars and real candy covered worms. This year a changed it up and used my car.  
Also used a blue tooth speaker for some spooky sounds.
Had one kid take the cheese so far.

Last year we did not anticipate many kids in our area so we bought one box of Nestle chocolates with 150 pieces. Turned out we were emptied out so in anticipation of things getting better with COVID, we bought two boxes and we were nearly cleared out with maybe 25 pieces left over. Had it not been for the rain, I think we would have run out of candy early in the evening. Last batch of kids came by at around 7:45pm and that was it.

Where do you store all your decorative shit in an apartment? As much as it looks nice to do the white people thing and switch up decor every season where the hell do you store it. I wish I lived in an Alberta mansion where I can have room to store all this shit.  | |

I have one 102L tote for each of Halloween and Christmas. My wife doesn't know it but I have a rule that I don't care what you buy it just has to fit in the tote and if it goes beyond I'll pick something from the tote to throw away to accommodate the new item. 5 years and she hasn't realized I've thrown away anything lol.

To answer the question, I only bought small items, webbing, stick on bats, mini spiders, witch hats, led mini string pumpkin lights, candle+skelen hands. All of it fits into a 10x10" box.
I didn't buy anything bigger than a few inches in size, not a fan of storing "shit".
