Tire recommendation

Hey guys,

My accord got some Kumho Escta ASX right now and they're quite worn, so looking for something new

looking for
-quiet ride
-good for summer / rain (dont care about snow got snow tires)
-decent tread rating

tia

give dhp a pm

i highly highly recommand Contiental DWS

definitely worth the extra $100-200 depending on the size you run

i have the asx right now and i absolutely cant wait till they self destroy or sth, horrible in the rain, and i have zero traction till 4th gear

or go with general UHP if you want it to be the cheapest while best bang for the buck

I previously had the exact same tires (Ecsta ASX) and recently replaced them with four Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 AS+.

The new Michelins may have been more expensive, but they're better in every way: dry traction is VASTLY improved, wet traction is better, road noise is decreased, and the treadwear rating is superior.

Would never consider going back to a cheaper alternative, personally.

I'm going to look into that

thanks

so far anyone that has used the dws has said nothing but good things about it

+1 for DWS.
I'll be ordering a set myself from tire rack :D
Absurdly cheap from there, even after the duties, taxes, and shipping. Still manages to be cheaper than a trip to Discount Tire in Bellingham.

Has anyone actually used the DWS? I've searched for reviews on Tirerack and they have been mixed, usually on opposite ends of the spectrum. They have scored pretty well on the TR track tests.

i've only had them for a couple of days now but i like them a lot so far

Thanks, got the DWS today from the Tirerack, look forward to installing them tomorrow.
