For steel wool, use 0000 grade steel wool. Available from home depot and its cheap. DO NOT use steel wool on mirrors. It will scratch the f*&k out of them.

you need a stronger material to cut and scratch a surface. Consider glass is one of the strongest material available, the steel wool will have no effect on the glass just make sure the steel wool is clean and no pebbles or sand is in it.

I keep alot of fish tanks and i use razors and anything i can find to clean the algae off.

can u feel the scratches with your finger nail? if so its not going to work

I took mine to speedy and the guy told me about jewelers rouge but that it wouldn't work on the scratches I have, so now im waiting for the weather to warm up so my glass can get chipped or cracked :rolleyes:

Maybe I am the first not only suggesting, but actually had tried on my own car?

I can only say it works on me everytime on my own car, like any other wonderful suggestions you found on internet, try it on your own risk?
