Where can I buy this cable?

Hellos

My MX518 is kinda broken. I've found that the problem is the USB cable. If it gets bent at a certain point the mouse powers off. My temp fix is a straw wrapped around the cable at the front of the mouse (where the problem is) and held in place with scotch tape. Pretty ghetto and it's not 100%.

Anyone know where I can find a replacement cable? One of the guys at NCIX said they don't carry such cables.

I need a usb cable that terminates with this plug thing:

TIA

+1

Cut and resolder or cut and reclamp if possible.

I have an older MX400 mouse that has issues with its left click.

If you want, you can have it and open it yourself and see if it has the same cable.

are you sure it is the cable and not the soldering on the PCB boards?

usually it is the soldering that gets "de-attached" and lead to loose connection. When you bend the cable, it moves the soldering pin a bit so you get your connection back.

Thanks guys, I'll probably get a friend to solder it.

And yes, it's the cable, not the PCB.

Thanks for the offer, but I have friends with access to a soldering iron, which I think is the quickest fix right now. If this doesn't work, I'll PM you.
