About a weeks ago I blindly signed up for Canadian Tire credit card, now today I got the card in the mail I did not call the 1-800 number to activate it, now my question is do I need to call them and tell them to cancel it?
No, do not call them to cancel it. Cut it up or leave it around the house but never cancel a credit card even if you don't need it, as it will have negative impact on your credit score.
Yeah that's what I was thinking as well I'm just going to cut it up into small pieces and throw it away thanks for the quick reply. This issue has been bugging me all day.
realy if you cancel a credit card you will lose credit?? i was thinking of canceling my master card since i got a new visa.. i geuss i shouldnt cancel mine then?
