Dude. I think the skater shoes you're referring to is DC, not DG, although their logos do look similar.

If the name is shortened, it's usually a cheaper version of the luxury brand.

Dolce&Gabbana costs more than D&G in general.

If it's an entirely new name, it's definitely cheaper.

Giorgio Armani > Emporio Armani > Armani Exchange. It is reported that Giorgio Armani himself disapproves of the Armani Exchange fashion, but it does bring in a lot of money from young adults.

For the record, Boys. Co isn't considered "high fashion" :)

Is AX even operated and controlled by Armani? Brands like Ralph Lauren license their name to third party manufacturers (e.g. Lauren from Ralph Lauren) to produce clothing, not sure if AX is like that. Or is it more like Z Zegna where it is owned and operated by Ermenegildo Zegna but just a more casual and affordable line?

Naw man.

It's about going to the Amazon, hunting some wild crocs, then proceeding to skin said crocs and making your own boots.

I find that DC Shoes' logo is very similar to Chanel tho...almost...lawsuit-worthy similar..:p
