Unlocking iphone 3GS

Hey, just wondering if anyone knows a good reliable service to unlock my fido iphone 3gs? i'm also wondering how to get it jailbreaked.. thanks in advance.. sorry im a nub =[

I hope you didn't update to 4.1. No unlock solution and iffy jailbrake.
