Wheel care

i pulled out a set of wheels from my garage after a year, and i found that they had squiggly white lines on it.
im wondering what that is, and what i should use to get rid of it?

Do they feel like scratches?

they dont sink in. instead, they come outwards, kind of like bumps

In my opinion it could've been from some sort of moisture/oil that accumulated while they were in your garage? Or maybe from when you took them off the car, then somehow the moisture and grease collected and slowly started dripping out?

(not sure if that makes sense)

I'd give ken a call, I'd guess that autoglym's wheel cleaner would take care of it, or maybe the tar & adhesive remover? Not sure if thats too strong, but Ken will point you in the right direction

It would appear to be corrosion under the clear. You can check with a wheel shop but I'm sure that they will tell you the same thing. Check with a place like Nu Brite or Panther Precision, the wheel should be easily fixed.

live with it, it could be worse.
