Interesting. How many people do you need for the group buy?

Total Visage 09-21-2010 07:50 PM

we were hoping for 10 people interested.

yoall 09-21-2010 08:55 PM

when is the dead line?

Total Visage 09-21-2010 09:52 PM

2 weeks, need 10 ppl interested.

hopefully there are 10 members who want their car back if it's stolen...

wouldn't it be wise to not disclose where you would be hiding your products?

and how much is installation regularly? this would be a killer deal if your company could convince icbc to give folks a discount.

Total Visage 09-22-2010 09:55 AM

installation for most cars is $70+.

most american insurance companies will give you a discount. we spoke to ICBC and they don't care about helping recover vehicles. not a single gps tracker product will get you a discount with ICBC.

What if the theft uses this?

then police can triangulate the area based on cellphone tower.

auto theft is costing every insured vehicle $43 per year.

consumers can let a small group of professional thieves continually fill their pockets or we can take the necessary measures to protect our vehicles.

interested ... general questions thou

does the authorities has any ground to access any information without my consent?

does it have a "off" buttom so I can have my "alone" time?

Volvoman 09-22-2010 11:27 AM

what if the car is in an area with no GPRS coverage?

Mugen EvOlutioN 09-22-2010 06:50 PM

how does this product compete/compare with drone mobile

i know that unit is a bit more $500 installed plus $10 dollar month fee, and this one is slightly cheaper minus monthly fee

Total Visage 09-22-2010 11:58 PM

unit is always off until you tell us to turn it on. authorities won't know to call us unless you announce to them hey call total visage to trace me. with a factory gps they will know who to call.

if there is no GPRS coverage then there is no signal.

drone is $500 installed, ours is $249 installed. they want $10 a month, ours does not. drone has additional features ie remote start or other options. it is aimed toward a different audience.

our product is aimed towards enthusiasts who put custom work on their car or mods that won't be covered by insurance, business owners who cannot afford to the inconvenience of a lost/stolen vehicle, etc.

Maybe I should have worded my question better. What I meant to say was how does your product work when there is no GPRS signal?

Total Visage 09-24-2010 03:00 AM

it won't work if there is no GPRS reception.

I will post up a photo of our complete range shortly.

The price for the unit is a really good deal,no monthly fees makes it even more attractive.

But,my only concern is,say I purchase the Totalvisage unit, let's say 3 years from now the company goes belly up,am I SOL?

There have been a number of GPS systems that have come and gone throughout the years.Unfortunately, alot of people have paid 1K+ for similar systems, only to find out it's worthless in a few years due to the company going belly up.

Total Visage 09-24-2010 10:10 AM

we can give you the code on how to track it yourself should that happen. the units will still be completely functional, it has to be self tracked by phone or online.
