Repeat Text Messages
 

I keep getting constant repeats of text messages from one person. I've talked with Rogers and they can't detect anything wrong on their end; she's talked with Telus and can't determine anything on their end either. The thing is that if she messages other people, they only get that one message. I, however, get bombarded with three or four of the same message constantly.

She's got some Blackberry touchscreen thing (sorry, don't know the model), and I've got an SE K850i, though even when I was running my iPhone 3G and her with the BB Pearl, it would keep happening.

Any thoughts what the issue might be? My phone's already laggy enough when it tries to receive just one text, let alone three or four in succession.

This is weird because just a couple of days ago I got 30+ blank texts from one of my friends. He didn't realise it after they were sent, and it got pretty damn annoying.

I had the same thing happen my friend has Telus and I have Fido and when she would send a message that was longer than 160 characters (Telus breaks the msg up if longer than that) but often it would just repeat....she deleted all her txts sent and received and change the network from automatic to manual....I no longer have that problem from her
