India's democracy is a total joke. It's pesuedo-democracy at best. although the Caste system was banned 50 years ago, its still deeply rooted inside India's culture. Anyone who has been there will know the lower caste people are treated worse than animals and if you are from the lower caste your life is simply at the mercy of your higher caste superiors - they can do whatever they want to you and get away with minimum or no punishment at all, and the authority cant do jack shit about it. At least in China, theres still law and orders.
