good game but sorry dude

i think my wireless is fucked, super unstable.

im gonna try connecting by wire next time see if its more stable

thats the thing i hate playing online, not stable, and laggy

i still cant play D tho

fuck couple crossovers and im gone, becuz cant lock on
ughhhh

its like playing football, i keep running into ppl

haha yeah good 2 minute game lol. Yeah online is super laggy. I don't really like to play online for any games because I hate the lag but yeah just keep practicing. You saw how I was able to get by you pretty easy by doing crossovers and whatnot. Play pro against the computer until you're comfortable then move the difficulty up. Remember that its not just about performing as many iso motion moves as you can, just look at how the defender reacts to what you're doing. Go into practice mode and do post up moves, it'll let you practice one on one with your guards and centers. That helped me alot

thx

ya past couple 2k onlines series have always been laggy.

:( thats why i hate playing online too

It was pretty funny tho, you got the ball first, kobe starts doing his thing except u were on the side nearly behind the hoop, try to do a jump shot my birdman fly over GET THAT SHIT OUT OF HERE

LOLLL

D is making me very very frustrated not knowing how to stay in front of my opponent, well how can you when you cant lock on. sure just move left and right but a lot of times u will walk past by especially when the opponent is performing ISO its too easy to pass by ur friends or online buddy, but AI locks on you. I definitely need to know how to do crossovers, i can do the simple right to left , left to right lol maybe sometimes spin move thats about it nothing fancy.

haha yeah birdman swatted me nicely. I was like WTF haha. Go into practice and practice the iso moves bro. They're really easy. The best is the step back to crossover move, its killer.

Here's a list of them

thx dude

ya birdman is epic, love that dude
and couple times under the hoop, i just gather up 3 big dudes and kept on jumping, eventually u got blocked LOL.

U must be thinking gee im right underneath the hoop, im just gonna wait for this idiot to jump, than im gonna dunk on his sorry ass.

I think my biggest concern is not moves, its how to play D

Live couple years ago, forgot which one since they were all crap. CANNOT lock on D

so a lot of times u walk past the person dribbling the ball.

Now im shocked 2k11 would remove that, since in the past for me to play perfect D, i lock on than move right and left.......

IMO i think lock on D is cheap. It helps you stay in front of the defender with little to no effort. I remember 2k8 when they had lock on, I just held the button and it would follow the player around. I'm glad they took it off because now you need to actually play real D instead of holding down a button lol.

As for you 3 guys in the paint i was really surprised that I didn't draw a foul because I had your 3 guys up and I jumped into them but they still blocked my shot lol.

hahahahaha true that

but u know what? in the past 2k series, the foul is such a bs, hit and a miss.

A lot of times i play with my buddy i knew it was a hard foul, basically pushed him and he got robbed, laying on the ground. ANd you know what? no call no foul.

Some games you run into foul trouble, some games the entire first half only 1-2 fouls (7-8 minutes game) its like ughh...are the refs sleeping?

But without locking on, have you notice playing D your players freaking slide all over the place? its like he has a pair of skates on his shoes. ANd now ISO has more moves, playing with another human its gonna be easier to pass him since no lock on D. But when you play against AI, its hard to pass them

When I play D, I don't move at all unless the ball carrier moves. Anytime you move its just to prevent them from going to that side. Usually just staying in front of them is good enough to get them to pass the ball or prevent their shot from going in. I don't keep moving back and forth if the ball carrier isn't moving.

How can you be a basketball fan if you are still considering getting 2k11 with JORDAN on the cover?!

But realistically, this is a far better game. Learning curve is steeper compared to previous games. The change in lock on defense and computer AI just makes the game that much better. A lot more offensive moves this time around with half spin fake and fade.

Started on my player not too long ago and got drafted 15th by the bucks. Almost getting to be the star player within 15 games, get out the way Brandon Jennings.

My last game was 2K8, I only tend to buy every 2 or 3 years but for sure this one is nuts and well worth it.

Mugen EvOlutioN 10-15-2010 01:38 PM
