What would a Sony ES XM2100G be worth these days? I bought this amp back when I was 18 and into the Car Audio scene... I've long since moved on and for the last 5 years it's been sitting in my parents' garage unused. I can't forsee myself ever using it again and an acquaintance wants to buy it off me, but I have no idea of what it might be worth anymore. It was quite an expensive amp (~$1000 IIRC) when it was new, apparently pretty high regarded at the time. I haven't seen one of those for considerably more then 5 years. I haven't seen anything real nice from Sony for quite some time. Maybe check Ebay and then add 20% to reflect shipping etc to come up with a price. |

Pre-2000 Sony Mobile ES was excellent gear. Then The electronics version of Bob Rock came a long, came up with Sony Xplode, produced Metallica's 'Saint Anger' album, invented the Daihatsu Charade and was sent to the Gulag to rot forever. New Sony stuff is still 'Saint Anger'. Garbage. |
Depends on how quickly you want to sell it. If you wait you'll probably find a buyer that'll pay more because they know what it is and how rare it is. If you want a quick sale $<200 would be my guess. |
