help! a spark plug shot out!!
 

hey guys, so I was driving back to vernon from kelowna the other night when all hell broke loose under the hood.

The spark plug from my 3rd cylinder shot out, stripping the threads in the head as it did... any ideas what caused this? what i can do to fix it? I havent had a chance to tear it apart, in fact its still sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. My guess is either a build up of pressure or a failed connecting rod... engine is a b16a

you can helicoil it or throw on a new head.

Probably the best way to do it if you don't want to buy a new head.

new head is prob the easiest way

btw VTECCCCCC blew my spark plug! :p sorry had to ....

is this a semi-common thing? should I worry about the other 3?
