Can I find anything like this locally?

I'm looking for a "Add-a-Circuit for Mini Fuses".

This is the item I am looking for:

Probably not the right section to put this thread, but I figure you audio/video guys may know where to find electronic accessories like these.

So where can I find something like this?

you can try DLC but you might require an account to buy from them...

be careful when using those things though...

Volvoman 09-28-2010 05:45 PM

canadian tire.

i bought 2 from there before

Yup, Canadian Tire and Walmart.

I've bought mine from Walmart.

shenmecar 09-28-2010 09:21 PM

Do you remember how much is it at Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart? Just curious....

RCubed 09-28-2010 09:26 PM

princess auto has those for 9 bucks.

MG1 09-28-2010 10:08 PM

9 bucks is good. I think Walmart and CT has them for quite a bit more (15 - 18 bucks?). I go to Princess Auto quite often. Must be a fairly new item. I any case, can't go wrong with 9 bucks.

Probably a knock off............

Pretty sure I've seen those at Lordco before too

MG1 09-29-2010 09:51 AM

Lordco has pretty good prices on stuff, but only if you have an account. Some accounts have heavy discounts, while others are, meh. Also, I'd bet their system has those add-a-circuit things listed for 20 bucks each or something ridiculous like that.

Revscene has a Lordco account, IIRC....... Not sure what kind of discount level it comes with.

Why not just add a fused power wire from the back of the Fuse Panel? 99% of the cars out there will have a post where you can add in power right next to the main battery cable that feeds the box! Why put a load on a circuit that isn't designed to do so?
