quick question about tire sizes

Hi guys,

Quick question - acural 1.6 EL, stock tires are 195/55/15

Will 185/65/15 tires fit properly? Any issues with the odometer that would arise? I think the sidewall is bigger on the 185s right?

The car is lowered too, so I'm worried that even if they do fit will they rub because of the bigger sidewall? Maybe im wrong. The springs are H/R sports

Are these two tires sizes interchangeable on 15 inch honda stock rims?

thanks

the 185/65 is a tad taller. depends on how low ur car is now will determine if u rub.

185/60 would be closer to ur stock 195/55

your overall diameter will be ~1" bigger then stock; speedo will read ~4% slower which mean when your speedo read 60mph, it actually traveling 62.6mph.

depends on how "low" your car is, with 1" bigger than stock might rub; better run 185/60/15

hope this help

Use this site: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Ideally you want less than 3% variance.
