Pls recommend a bodyshop specializes in Acura My 2009 TL got rear ended while my wife was driving it on Monday. The rear bumper needs repair and seeking for a recommendation on a bodyshop in Vancouver/Burnaby area. Do not want to jeopardize by walking into any bodyshop because of the convenience of the location but rather a established shop, where the members had good experience with. I baby my TL like most of you do and want to get the job done right. Appreciate in advance for your help/guidance. Cheers |
Checkpoint collision man! They've done my rr conversion with excellent paint job and installation 3 months back. They have good reputation. They also specialize modding jdm cars as well since they're very familiar with jdm parts. I got rear ended by two cars last week so I'm taking my car to checkpoint again. Ask for Steven and bill! They're good people! Posted via RS Mobile |
ak autoworks on 4403 Dawson Street burnaby. its right off wellingdon. my friends 2010 mazda 3 was fixed there. amazing job, looks as good as factory. They were patient and answer every stupid question tat my friend had. the damage included hood, front bumper, 1 fender, both headlights. they even brought the car to mazda for a recall. |
why not go into north shore acura, they do colission and icbc claims or you could go to openroad autobody on no.5 rd and bridgeport Posted via RS Mobile |
^ isn't openroad autobody doing the body repairs for all openroad auto group's dealerships now, including north shore acura? |
nope north shore acura uses another shop on the north shore, that works on bmws and audis, I don't recall the name, but they are really good at what they do. and btw north shore acura has just been sold to dennison as of nov 1st dennison will be taking over them, so they will no longer belong to openroad auto group. They use Richmond Autobody on 1st ave, just across the tracks from the automall |

I think he's already had it repaired |
any bodyshop will suffice, I don't think any one will specialize in Acuras. The body panels for most cars are made of the same material are every other car on the road and the ability to paint match is picking numbers off a catalogue. |
