Pics inside Is it possible to get these stains off my wheels, the pic ive attached is 1 i took right after i washed and dried my wheels. http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/2834/dsc0398z.jpg i cant seem to scrub off those brown spots + also that black stuff next to the rivets where the face of the wheel connects to the lip. also i duno what that jizz looking stuff is either lol. is there any cleaner i can use? + something to take out some of the scratches on the lip? :D thanks!! |
I believe your clear coat is coming off and it's oxidizing your lip. This is also happening to me as well. You can try to use chrome polish, but that will not fix the problem. Only way will be refenish them which I will do soon. |
no it isn't, time for new wheels, shouldnt be a problem for you. |
maybe i should next summer |
Are the lips chrome or polished aluminum? |

Take a small dab of aluminum polish on a mf. Gently wipe back and forth. If the mf turns black, you are removing oxidized aluminum. If nothing comes off, they are chrome. :) |
thanks!! il give that a try but i have to get some aluminum polish first |
