ICBC Repair Warranty First off before someone says something, I can't contact ICBC about this until Monday so I was hoping someone here might have some insight until then. :p Anyway, my car was in an accident prior to buying it and I have reason to believe the repairs weren't done correctly. Now, I know most ICBC-accredited repair shops tend to have lifetime warranties, but do they only apply with the at-the-time owner, or does ICBC make these shops keep the warranty for the life of the car, regardless of ownership? |
the warranty on repairs only applies for as long as you own your vehicle. |
I'd start by contacting ICBC or CarFax and find out for sure if that's the case. 2nd - If there has been a previous repair, take it into a shop you trust and ask them to look at it. If there is questionable repair work, then I'd call ICBC and see what can be done. |

Even if the work was done wrong and it was an ICBC claim you will be wasting your time, if you are not the original owner of the claim/car. |
