That's pretty awesome.... Imagine if that guy was the first guy to catch footage of an orbiting space craft ;)

Berz out.

BNR32_Coupe 10-10-2010 09:48 PM

That's pretty awesome.. but I wonder how much radiation that craft got contaminated with before it landed

rexsomnii 10-10-2010 11:01 PM

only takes 70 mins to get to outer space !! LOL pretty awesome

Manic! 10-11-2010 01:27 AM

Some guys from MIT did something similar for only $150 in parts.
I would like to try it build one some day.

punkwax 10-11-2010 09:13 AM

RS group build? lol

tiger_handheld 10-11-2010 10:08 AM

NASA would've spent 150 Million on a mission like this, using equipment worth 15 million and being faced with 2-3 launch delays that cost 1.5 million each.

double0seven 10-11-2010 01:45 PM

Man that is sucha cool project. It would be worth doing sometime

I'm thinking it would be kinda cool to try it at night time rather day. Being able to see all the lights on etc

optiblue 10-11-2010 02:30 PM

that's awesome! I thought it would have landed in another state at least! Wonder what would happen if everyone in a city launched one at the exact same time! GG to some planes!

124Y 10-11-2010 03:01 PM

Wow that's pretty awesome! I wonder if the U.S. military radar detected its presence or not.

jepho 10-11-2010 03:11 PM

cool cool.
I would have thought you would need clearance from the FAA before launching somehitng like this.

TOS'd 10-11-2010 03:30 PM

Also would have been better if it wasn't as cloudy.

JSALES 10-11-2010 03:41 PM

cressydrift 10-11-2010 08:58 PM

Instead of making a new thread I thought I would just add this here!

Half price space flight test... half price compared to NASA...
