Free business/company rebranding from a student

Recommend me a non-profit organization

Just a logo rebrand as of now. If you need something else with the logo, just shoot me a PM with all the info, i might consider it depending on the work load (i gotta balance with 4 other classes).

You shouldn't be offering this type of service to a business for free. It's not any better than "spec work" either regardless if it was for school or what not. More than anything, do a project like this for a non-profit organization instead and not for an actual business.

What school are you going to? and how much time do you have a week to commit to this?

Inaii 10-12-2010 04:02 PM

Armind I would suggest choosing your own business to rebrand. If you offer this to a company they're going to expect way more from you than they should (I'm speaking from experience, I did the same thing in one of my classes). Btw who did you get for that class?

I'm having a hard time picking an organization, any suggestions?

Inaii 10-12-2010 04:08 PM

I think so? Him and Paul Shoebridge are partners in business. Supposedly they do lots of trips back and forth with NY. They've art directed "Adbusters", very helpful. I envy those who have Marker. SO DAMN EASY WITH HIM GOD DAMN IT.

Inaii 10-12-2010 04:14 PM

Haha that's not why I liked him. He could criticize til he was blue in the face and it never came off as rude or unhelpful like some of the other teachers (chris north for instance).

^Chris North is long gone i believe, he was so useless. I didn't see him around when i came back to school.

Inaii 10-12-2010 04:42 PM

He wasn't useless :p he just wasn't a teacher.

If anyone knows of a non-profit organization that looks in need of a new logo. Please let me know. I have 2 in my mind right now, but the more choices i got the better.

TIA

if ur offering this service, i don't think you're choosing the right language. You're offering to rebrand their corporate logo, possibly colours, themes and other aesthetics.

Re-Branding to most businessmen means looking at positioning strategies, brand management and all that other crap which I assume you're not providing, and which businesses do not usually turn to students for. Just make sure you make that clear!

^ Thanks for the heads up!
