Powder coating brake calipers

I hope this isn't a re post... anyways.
I am about to purchase a big brake kit.. however the supplier only carries the calipers in anodized black with laser itched branding.
I really don't want it black and want them another color, as well I want it proper so taking a spray can to it won't cut it. I don't mind paying the extra few 100 to get them painted. It must also retain the itched brand :P

So ya, just want to know if this is possible, and if I need to be aware of the specific paint, since the calipers do heat up quite a bit.

If possible mind recommending me a place? I want to get a quote from them asap

Thanks!

Problem with powdercoating is that the coating itself is somewhat of an insulator and prevent the calipers from dissipating heat as quickly as anodized or bare aluminum. I don't think it's a huge issue unless you do serious track usage. I've used Gemblasters in Chilliwack as their product seems to be quite good.

You can look into having the calipers re-anodized in whatever color you want. Try and get hard anodized as that is a stronger thicker coating making it more durable. It used to be that hard anodizing was only available in black since it was mostly used in industrial applications, tho now I think there are other colors.

Either way both require pretty much a rebuild as the seals/dust boots and hardware need to be removed.

This is my experience so far, please correct me if I'm wrong.

What car have you got and what brand are you looking to get?
