The CR-Z is more appliance then automobile, no pride, no herritage, no soul...

The problem is that enthusiasts are a very small, if not almost invisible, part of the overall car market.

The average car buyer does not car about performance - they care about reliability, looks, fuel economy, unnecessary features (bling) and brand/image. Morever, we in North America, have gotten much fatter and lazier over the last 20 years which is why cars with sporting intentions no longer sell. This is exemplified by the demise of manual transmissions (I don't care if a computer can shift quicker than I can - it's all about feel and control), the decline in engineering, feature creep, and weight gain.

The CR-Z is the only Honda car that's available with HID's from the factory. You'd think it could launch more than 3 times!

Nope you aren't getting old lol ... I believe 80% of the people would love the sports car made in the 90s.....

Be happy that Honda even has a sporty car. Toyota went from 3 turbocharged RWD and AWD sports cars to zilch... nada... nothing...

gilly 10-21-2010 12:04 PM

^ true. the only "sporty" car that toyota makes now is the corolla xrs which noone buys.

Well they got the scion tc now which is somewhat quite sporty.... seem pretty popular in the US but these days 180hp is so bleah.... that might change when the launch the FT86 hopefully with the wrx's 265 2.5.
