Do search on net or visit a pet shop. You'll get there. |
Ah that's too bad. I used to use ceder pellets. I bought it as horse bedding and got about 50Lbs for $8 at a feed store. Ceder also kills fleas as well as smelling better then the sand, and doesn't track around the house. |

my cat is long haired, thats why wood chips and such stick to her feet and to her coat, making it track everywhere around the house. does it clump up ? i bought 18kg at canadian tire a few days ago , and i wasnt satisfied at all does do its job. |
It doesn't clump, it does turn to saw dust when wet but it's not sticky. I just put a mat outside the litter box and that would catch any tracking. In fact I switched to it because my cat had long hair on the bottoms of her feet between her toes and the sand stuff would stick to her all over. You want the pellets not wood chips. Yesterday's News is good too (it's recycled paper pellets) but it's much more expensive in my experience. I bought mine at Prairie Pet Foods in Port Coquitlam, right next to the Coopers and Starbucks at Prairie and Cedar. You could probably find a similar product at any rural feed shop. Like I said I bought it as horse bedding and if it can do the job for horse pee, it can do the trick for cat pee IMO. :P You could probably call Bosley's and find out if they sell a wood pellet litter and what they sell it for too. http://www.bosleys.com/our_pet_store.../overview.aspx They're probably a bit more expensive then a feed shop but I find them more affordable then most big box stores and they're a more ethical company in general too. |

We find the Clumping Multi-Cat litter from Superstore works well for ours... relatively cheap, too, especially if you get the big bag. We tried the silica crystals once, but the cats got pissed off that we changed their litter, and crapped all over the floor AROUND the litter box. |
