DC integra battery in a 2nd gen DA?

May seem like a dumb question but better be safe then sorry

the DC integras seem to have smaller battery than in DA's (more rectangular shape then square), would putting a smaller battery in it make any difference/risk? The reason I ask is because I put a velocity stack with a 6" filter in and now its super tight against the battery and i would like to free up the area. Anyways do these smaller batteries give out the same amount of power as the slightly bigger ones? I went to canadian tire and couldnt seem to find them.

thanks in advance

The size doesn't always tell you the amount of power inside the battery. Look for the CCA rating for the battery for the amount of power in each battery.

I'd say check the rating. I don't see why it wouldn't work.. Pretty much the same motor ect. If you're worried about it not holding enough power maybe look into an optima red top or something. Let us know how it works out.
