Filing for a Trademark help ?

Hi, has anyone ever filed for a trademark ? I'm trying to file for one right now, but am caught up in the legal terms. I have tried calling 5 different trademark agents, but everyone has it go to their voicemail or has their secretaries pick up, so I thought I'd give RS a try because I know some of you own your own businesses. If anyone has had any experience in this field, please fire me a PM and your help would be greatly appreciated.

The specific terms I'm having problems with are:

Wares Details:

Enter statement of wares in respect of which registration is requested

Services Details:

Enter statement of services in respect of which registration is requested

Also, anyone know how much a trademark agents fees are approx?

Anyways, any help will be appreciated, please fire me a PM. Thanks in advance

wares = what your trademark is used on physical items (eg. cars, car parts, cell phone, boxed cereals etc)

service = what your trademark is used for in terms of service (car repair, restaurant) etc.

a trademark application can range from 3k to 10k depending on complexity

forgot to mention, best way is to get your company lawyer to refer you to a trademark agent, its better that way.

Thanks for the quick feedback man. I'll try to look into it some more... Anyone has any experience filing for one themselves? The filing fees only cost about 300$, I'm really gonna try to avoid spending 3k+ if this is something I can do myself....

It's real hard to do yourself. That's why the lawyers and agents are always in business. They charge depending on how intricate your trademark is.
I highly recommend finding an agent. When I was filing a patent, I wasted lots and lots of time trying to penny pinch and trying to figure stuff out myself. But these agents do this for a living, so what takes you months and months to do, takes them 10 minutes. Not to mention you could be doing it wrong. Or if you miss or forget to do something when doing it yourself.. could lead to disaster.
After months wasted, I finally gave in and found myself an agent. This is the business world. Gotta spend money to make money. Consider it an investment. I regret not going to him sooner. PM me if you want contact
