Where to get custom-cut piece of plexiglass

I am trying to make a partition for my fish tank. Basically I need a rectangle with a few holes drilled as well, made to specific dimensions.

Anyone know a cheap half-decent place? A google search shows many possible places, but hoping someone can recommend one.

Thanks in advance!

Try Industrial Plastics & Paint in Richmond.
120-5726 Minoru Boulevard.
(604) 278-4977

Try giving them a call or ask in person; their staffs are quite helpful.

Yea Industrial Paints and Plastics should be able to do it. Have you tried the conventional Home Depot or Rona?

IPP on Minoru has moved to Bridgport I find them very expensive for plexi millwork. I deal with a place on River Road in Richmond I can never remember the name. I'll try and track it down if you like.

Phil, can you please find out for me if it's not too much trouble? Thanks in advance.

Try asking on www.bcaquaria.com

If you're going to be siliconing it to your tank you should use glass.

If you just want to make a partition try using eggcrate if your fish is big enough. It's a lot cheaper and better for water flow.

Thank you so much sir. I didn't even think of using eggcrate! It actually works for what I need (really just keeping my turtle out of a certain part of the tank) Any idea where I can get some? Nobody at Home Depot knew what I was talking about when I called in..?

I got it at Rona and Home Depot. Try telling them you want light diffuser.
