When in Russia...

Boostslut 10-25-2010 03:04 AM

Wow, i wonder what set it all off? Crazy stuff going down in Mother Russia!

BinsentoW 10-25-2010 05:41 AM

WTF happened at 0:30? The 2 guys fighting get up one after the other and smash the same video camera and continue chasing each other. And that was from someone wearing same shirt as him.
Gave me a good laugh though.

The chick photographer has a nice ass!

CP.AR 10-25-2010 08:32 AM

I have a feeling that this might be some sort of viral marketing...

ilvtofu 10-25-2010 11:16 AM

Holy shit i cringed so hard when I saw him throw that camera 10ft in the air :/

J____ 10-25-2010 05:38 PM

wow how un professional lol. way to ruin a wedding, at least take it out after the fact or in hiding. Way to ruin a reputation.... but it's russia, you never know. he might get more clients now haha.

Senna4ever 10-27-2010 05:22 PM

I've wanted to beat the shit out of some videographers before too.

asian_speedster 10-27-2010 09:33 PM

The extended version! Definitely looks fake though.

m3thods 10-27-2010 10:52 PM

yeah if i was really wanting to kill someone, there's no way i'm letting him down softly to the ground.

Dr. Robot 10-28-2010 12:22 AM

I've wanted to beat the shit out of some photographers too. :P

I no longer shoot weddings, but I've experienced it from the photo side, and video side. I'm surprised there aren't fights more often lol. Even if you clearly lay ground rules so that you don't get in each others' shots, it rarely works.

Even if you clearly lay ground rules so that you don't get in each others' shots, it rarely works. Photographers tend to think they are of higher importance than videographers, and are so damn stubborn to work with. I'm not bitter, just saying :).

What? Of course we're more important than videographers! :D
That's a given - especially those that still use tungsten/halogen lights on their cameras. Heh...

frostedLS 11-21-2010 07:09 PM

LOL you caught my unedited post I see...

Funny you mention that, I've used halogen lights a few times and had photographers thank me for the added light, especially on the dance floor.

Senna4ever 11-21-2010 07:13 PM

Oh, the dance floor is fine. It's when they use tungsten/halogen at the bride & groom's houses during the 'getting ready' shots and they turn on the light, it fucks up the white balancing because of the daylight coming in through the windows.

frostedLS 11-21-2010 07:22 PM

Ah yes, makes sense. I'm not sure why one would even try that though... Problem is many videographers pick up an expensive camera, without any previous photography/cinematography knowledge, and call themselves professionals :D

so what do you suggest they use? using the daytime light coming in through the room isnt enough light.

Senna4ever 11-22-2010 07:37 PM

There are daylight balanced LED lights specifically made for video cameras like the LitePanel brand that throw a softer but brighter light than the tungsten/halogen bulbs.

sunny_j 11-22-2010 08:45 PM

with daylight balanced LED lights you get a blueish hue to the video.

Senna4ever 11-23-2010 01:01 AM

Not if you use the the LED's that are properly balanced like the LitePanel brand.
