Rock CHip on headlight

WHy oh why is my car so attracted to rocks :(

i just discover a 1-2mm rock chip on my headlight. I can catch my fingernails on it and it looks like a dent. Are these fixable? I know headlights can be polished and wet sand but my chip looks so deep i'm not sure if its the kind that can be fix?

i try getting a picture but filiming a small nick on a reflective headlight in bad lighting doesn't work out.

just want to know to what degree can a rock chip on headlights can be fixed?

If you can catch your fingernail on it, you're going to need to wet sand it. But you said it's very deep, so you have to ask yourself if it is really worth it to do. Thats a lot of wet sanding it get the surrounding area of the chip level.

My suggestion would be to smooth out the edges of the chip as much as you can and do a once over with polish. Rocks will always be inevitable, try to minimize the damage and live with it.

is it glass or plastic? if its glass, get some silicone and fill it in, some sanding, and you'll be fine, if its a plastic one, you can pick up one of those headlight kits from lordco or canadian tire with the drill attachment for 25$ and then go to town until its fixed.
