Choosing Pads for rotary machine

I have a meguiar rotary tool and I'm now looking for pads to cut (remove swirls and scratches) and to buff the polishing chemical off after applying it.
Any suggestion what to get and where to buy?

Thanks

Lake Country CCS pads, from Ken @ Autowerkes Exclusive.

Forum sponsor ftw.

Is it strong enough to remove swirls? I was thinking meguiar's wool heavy cutting pad, what do you think of that?

How bad are your swirls ? Wool is pretty aggressive to start off with unless your paint is super hammered.

I got some sanding marks. My paint is black and I really want to buff that off..

For Lake Country, which one is the cutting pad??? I'm using meguiar's #105 and #205

Yellow or Orange

Give Ken a call, describe your situation and he will prescribe the proper pads.

It depends what kind of product are you using. Different products were designed to be used in conjunction with different pads.

Post some pics of what you are trying to correct and I'll do what I can for you.

Sure, I will take pictures after I wash my car. Thanks

wool pad will need to be finished with a foam pad, unless if you're some kind of super detailer OR fill it with glaze. The latter option is the worst thing to do though.

i recently switched to malco fome pads and im quite impressed. i have been doing auto detailing for almost 5 years and i have never seen a fome pad work soo good with cutting compound. just a few days ago i did a black S550 and what i did was orange fome pad with 3m xp cutting compound, followed with green fome pad with 3m swirl remover, then black fome pad with auto magic fome finish, finally finish everything off with malco nano tech blueberry wax.

never had a black car look soo good with under 6hours of work. LOL. ill post some pics of my work later when i figure out how to work this. im a rs newb. lol
