Help! Lowering springs knock

I recently purchased a set of Vogtland lowering springs for my 2002 Acura RSX. After the professional installed them, he said the front springs made a clanging/knocking noise. He said when he installed them, he didn't require a compressor and that they just went right in. As a result the springs aren't being compressed enough, and every time I turn the wheel, I hear several knocking sounds coming from the springs (the spring vibrating) . I've had 2 other certified mechanics look at it, they said the same thing, and that it is the spring and it is not fixable. Is it possible the springs in the box were the wrong ones? Also, could there be a difference for American and Canadian models which might explain this?

Anyone have this prob? How did you fix it?

Thanks

There is no difference in the Canadian and American models. It's most likely the design of the springs as the other mechanics say. Unfortunately, to get rid of the noise, you will probably need to use a different brand of springs. Sometimes spring silencers around the coils can help but it's not a guarantee.
